Massive turn out at Mini Rugby Festival Share
Bann's mini rugby teams had their first taste of competitive action on Saturday when the club hosted a Festival of Mini Rugby, sponsored by The Outlet. Armagh, Holywood and Lisburn were the welcome visitors and a total of over 450 players aged 6-11 took part in a series of games over nearly three hours. The Outlet Trophy for Fair Play was awarded to Armagh, but all the teams showed great commitment and enthusiasm at this, the second running of the annual event. Training continues at Rifle Park on Saturday mornings from 9.30-11.15 and all children from P2-P7 are welcome to come along and ‘Give it a Try'.
