Ken puts on fundraising performance of Rare Oul Times Share
Former club president Ken McElroy and his Nomadic Theatre Company are putting on a fund raising performance of the Rare Oul\' Times in the Grand Opera House on Monday 9th May, in support of the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival. The CQAF, in common with the entire Arts sector, are due to lose a substantial amount of their funding due to the recent Government cut backs. So in support of what has become an institution in Northern Ireland for the past eleven years each May, Ken and co-star Oliver Moore have offered this performance with all profits going to the Festival. Actor Moore explains \"When we started out almost twelve years ago we had absolutely no idea of the wonderful journey that would follow. We are really looking forward to performing in Northern Ireland\'s premier theatre and raising much needed funds to help in some little way secure the future of one of the great institutions of the Belfast arts scene the Cathedral Quarter Festival.\" All tickets are £10. Curtain up at 8pm.
