Derek tackles two marathons in fundraising effort Share
Once again our club's Honorary Secretary Derek Moorhead is running to raise money in support of the Welsh Guards Afghanistan Appeal. This time however he is taking on two marathons starting with the London Marathon on 17th April followed by the Belfast Marathon on 2nd May. Gillian McNiff, mother of two junior club members is also running the London Marathon and is supporting the NI Children's Hospice.
Both runners are seeking sponsorship for their chosen charity.

A fundraising disco is arranged at the clubhouse in support of both these charities on Sat 9th April 2011, from 8pm till late, admission £5.
