Mini Rugby Registration - Saturday 3rd September Share
A new season of mini rugby kicks off this Saturday, 3rd September, at Rifle Park, with all boys and girls of Primary School age (P2-P7) invited to register at 9.30am. A change back to the date of eligibility of 1st July means that boys and girls will play in school years. P2 and P3 will train under senior coach Raymond Reid and his assistants. P4 players will be coached by Aaron Fawcett and his assistants and Warren Smyth and his coaching team will look after the P5s. The P6 squad will train under Alan Dunwoody and his assistants and George MacCormac and Carolyn Dean will be in charge of the P7s. Boys who are moving to secondary school will join with the second formers in making up the U-13s under coach Eamon Whelan, training on Wednesdays at 7.00pm. An exciting programme of mini fixtures has been put together by Match Secretary Aaron Fawcett, kicking off with The Outlet- sponsored Festival on 24th September. So make sure you're at the club this Saturday morning to register - registration will be followed by a short coaching session - and players should be collected not later than 11.30am.
