Banbridge 2nd XVs improvement over the season was further evidenced on Saturday when they exacted revenge, to overturn their earlier 80-point defeat to Ballymena at Eaton Park. A Jordy Weir try and four penalties from Shandon Scott accounted for Bann's points in their 17-8 win.

Floodlit fixtures this week

Three Banbridge sides will feature in floodlit action this week starting tomorrow (Tuesday) evening with the U19s facing Dromore in the Nutty Krust Tournament in Portadown. Kick off at 7.45pm.

Then on Friday night Bann take on Dungannon at Stevenson Park in the quarter final of the Senior Cup, while the thirds welcome Lisburn 2nds to Rifle Park. Kick off in both matches at 7.30pm

The Ladies Committee Annual Charity Quiz will take place in the clubhouse on Friday 12th March at 8pm.

This year's chosen charity is the Welsh Guards Afghanistan Appeal, selected due to the links between the regiment and some of our club members.
